About Crystal
My years in the classroom have taught me to keep sessions casual and interesting, as "forced" writing is always poor writing. Often, students don't write well under pressure. I started my career as a peer tutor in college, and then I ran a tutoring center while working on my Ph.D. in composition and rhetoric. Since then, I've overseen writing programs at two universities and now teach writing and communication courses full-time.
