I’m a singing tutor with 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, specializing in Lieder and Art Song. Over the years, my passion has evolved toward teaching vocal improvisation, especially for jazz and blues singers. I focus on helping students unlock their creative voice through scat singing, melodic embellishment, and advanced harmony work. My teaching blends strong technical foundations with musical freedom. I guide singers through ear training, scale and chord theory, and real-time application in improvisational settings. Whether you're new to jazz or looking to refine your phrasing and harmonic choices, lessons are tailored to your level and goals. I support students in building both confidence and originality on stage. My sessions often combine structured exercises with open-ended vocal play. Together, we explore style, rhythm, tone, and storytelling through the lens of improvisation. I’ve worked with vocalists of all levels—from curious beginners to emerging artists. About the lesson

My singing teaching approach focuses on preparing students for strong, confident performances. I help singers build both vocal skill and stage presence, so they feel ready when it matters most. We focus on audition preparation, choosing the right repertoire, and managing performance anxiety with simple, effective strategies.

Each lesson is carefully planned to target technique, expression, and delivery. I work on breath support, vocal tone, and phrasing, all while keeping your performance goals in mind. Together, we practice how to stand out in front of an audience or a panel.

I’m especially good with The Adult Beginner and The Advanced Teen—students who are motivated to perform but may need structure or guidance under pressure. I support them through focused practice and realistic mock auditions.

We also work on stage presence, body language, and communicating through song. Lessons are warm, supportive, and honest, with regular feedback and encouragement. You’ll walk into your next audition feeling prepared and confident. We'll get you ready to impress and grow as a performer.
