About Travis

With 10 years of experience in teaching violin, I am dedicated to providing tailored lessons for school students. My teaching focuses on classical technique, sight-reading, and expressive playing, ensuring that each student develops a strong foundation and refined skills. I take pride in creating a supportive and engaging environment where students can thrive and achieve their musical goals.

My lessons are designed to cater to individual needs, allowing students to progress at their own pace. I emphasize the importance of classical technique, which forms the basis for all advanced violin skills. Additionally, I guide students through sight-reading exercises and help them develop their own expressive style, enhancing their overall performance abilities.

Outside of teaching, I am passionate about exploring various musical genres and participating in ensemble performances. I enjoy attending concerts and collaborating with other musicians, which inspires me and keeps my teaching approach fresh and innovative. This enthusiasm for music translates into my lessons, providing students with a rich and dynamic learning experience.

About the lesson

With a decade of experience in teaching the violin, I offer personalized lessons designed specifically for school students. My approach emphasizes classical technique, sight-reading, and expressive playing, providing a comprehensive foundation for developing well-rounded violinists. Each lesson is tailored to the individual needs of the student, focusing on their unique strengths and areas for improvement.

In my lessons, I prioritize classical technique to ensure that students build a solid base for advanced skills. We work on sight-reading to enhance their ability to quickly interpret and perform new music. Additionally, I emphasize expressive playing, encouraging students to bring their own emotions and interpretations into their performances. This balanced focus helps students not only improve their technical abilities but also develop their own musical voice.

Beyond teaching, I am deeply involved in the musical community, frequently participating in concerts and collaborative projects. This involvement keeps me engaged with current trends and techniques, which I bring into my teaching. My passion for music and ongoing learning ensures that my students receive the most relevant and inspiring guidance possible.
