1 on 1 lessons are just the tip of the iceberg! There are national assessments, regional competitions, and master classes that all have a part in my personal violin studio.
Violin lessons are not just about music. They are about performance under pressure, mature study habits, reading comprehension, self expression, and building confidence!
I believe that my lessons not only teach students excellence in violin performance, but also better prepare them for every other life skill.

Ian is a phenomenal violinist and teacher. He is warm, personable and detail-oriented. He truly cares deeply about helping each of his students succeed! His friendly and approachable demeanor make students feel at ease in their lessons.
Ian has been teaching my son violin for about 5 years, and he has been a fantastic teacher. He is patient, kind and personable, while still maintaining high expectations. He is good communicating with both student and parent. He has been a great mentor to my son because he is invested and cares.
