I am a qualified and experienced Sociology teacher with a Master’s degree in Sociology from Panjab University, Chandigarh, along with a B.Ed. I have 8 years of experience teaching Sociology to Grade 11 and 12 students.

I served as the Lead Teacher for Sociology at Delhi Public School (DPS), Ludhiana, where I was responsible for the subject. I also had the opportunity to take responsibility for Sociology across three other sister schools, giving me extensive experience in planning lessons, developing academic resources and supporting students across different learning levels.

My Teaching Approach

I believe Sociology is best understood when students can connect concepts to real-life situations and the society around them. My classes therefore focus on conceptual clarity rather than simply memorizing textbook definitions.

For every student, I aim to provide:

Tailored assignments based on the student's learning needs
Clear explanations using relatable, real-life examples
Guidance with answer writing and examination preparation
Regular discussion and questioning to develop deeper understanding

Additional Teaching Experience

I am CTET qualified and have also worked as a mentor for teachers preparing for the CTET examination, helping aspiring teachers understand the examination requirements and prepare effectively.

I have also successfully passed CENTA, further strengthening my professional teaching credentials.

Online Classes

I prefer online one-to-one classes, which allow me to tailor the lesson, pace and learning material specifically to each student.

Fee: ₹800 per hour

Available timings:

12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
3:30 PM – 4:30 PM

Students can choose the slot that suits them best.

My aim is to make Sociology interesting, understandable and relevant, while helping students develop the confidence and skills they need to perform well in their examinations.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is simple: Sociology becomes much easier when students can relate it to the world around them. Rather than relying only on textbook definitions, I use relatable examples, current social situations and practical discussions to help students understand and retain concepts.
