About Dineo
I have been giving private lessons during my high school years and recently worked with the SSIP program for a year, tutoring large group matriculants in preparation for their exams. I took a TEFL course and obtained necessary skills of understanding and modifying the different study techniques used by different learners. I have been a high school learner myself, and understand the difficulties faced by learners in grasping the content taught in class. My experience as a tutor allowed me to learn the different learning modes that different students prefer, so I am able to cater for different types of learners and their needs.

I am a high school tutor, offering my lessons grades 10-12 pupils.
I base my lessons on the content given in class, and apply my focus on topics that students find hard to understand or aspire to master.
I create a student-tutor relationship in order to understand their learning style. In large group tutoring, I structure my lesson in a way that allows interaction across the spectrum of students, with activities that combine and challenge the individual energy and enthusiasm of each student in the same direction. In individual tutoring, I build bonds of trust in order to structure my motivation for what best interests them. I also create a platform of comfort for the student when communicating the
Prior to the lesson, I communicate with the student to find out what has been done in class and what they need help in most.
I obtain a list of topics that the student needs help in and give myself time to thoroughly prepare for the lesson. I obtain class notes to understand the teacher's deliverance of content and structure it in a way that the student will understand.
During the lessons I incorporate practice questions for engagement and better understanding. This also helps in preparation for tests and exams.
