About Dolce
I’m a recent engineering graduate and working professional, but writing has always been one of my biggest passions. Over the years, I’ve written and reviewed everything from college essays and research papers to creative writing, short stories, technical reports, presentations, resumes, and professional communication.
I also have experience grading and giving feedback on college-level essays, which has helped me develop a strong eye for organization, clarity, grammar, argument structure, and overall effectiveness. At the same time, I love the creative side of writing and understand that good writing is about more than following rules — it’s about finding your voice and communicating your ideas in a way that feels natural and engaging.
As a tutor, I’m supportive, detail-oriented, and very focused on helping you understand why certain changes make your writing stronger. I don’t want to simply “fix” your work for you. I want to help you become more confident in your own abilities so that writing feels less overwhelming and more enjoyable.
Whether you need help brainstorming an essay, improving grammar, developing a story, polishing a resume, strengthening an application, or simply getting past a blank page, I’m happy to meet you where you are. My goal is to make writing feel approachable, creative, and something you can actually feel proud of.

I don’t believe writing help should feel stiff, intimidating, or like someone is just covering your paper in red ink. My goal is to make writing feel way more manageable and help you understand how to actually improve it.
Lessons are personalized around what you need most — grammar, essays, thesis statements, organization, proofreading, resumes, cover letters, applications, or professional writing. We can work directly from something you’re already writing, or build skills from the ground up.
I’m big on explaining why something works, not just changing it for you. We’ll break down confusing concepts, strengthen your ideas, improve flow, and make your writing sound polished while still sounding like you.
My lessons are great for middle school, high school, college students, and adults who want to become more confident writers, improve an assignment, or make professional documents stand out. Whether you’re staring at a blank page or just need a second set of eyes, I’m here to make the process easier.
