About Sem

I am Sem, a native English speaker from London with a lifelong passion for language and communication. I have lived and worked internationally my whole life, across the UK, France, East Asia, Europe and beyond, which means I am genuinely accustomed to different understandings and perceptions of the English language. I know that communication is not one size fits all and I meet every student exactly where they are.
Language and communication are things I care about deeply. The ability to express yourself, whether in writing or out loud, has the power to change how the world receives you. I have seen it time and again across the many environments I have worked in, and that is exactly why I am so passionate about what I do.
I tutor because I love watching people grow. There is nothing quite like seeing someone find their confidence, nail a piece of writing, or finally feel at ease expressing themselves. That moment makes everything worthwhile.
I work with students of all levels and all backgrounds. My sessions are warm, relaxed, and built entirely around you. I listen, I adapt, and I make sure every lesson feels relevant to your life and your goals.

About the lesson

We can work on oral expression, creative writing, essay writing, functional skills, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and more. No two students are the same, so no two lessons look the same either.
