About Callahan
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with more than 11 years of experience teaching students from different backgrounds including school, college, and working professionals. I enjoy making learning simple and engaging.
My teaching approach is based on communication, flexibility, and encouragement. I customise my lessons according to each student’s goals and pace. I focus on building strong basics and improving gradually.
In addition to piano, I teach music theory, rhythm training, and ear development. These help students become confident musicians. I also include song-based learning and practical exercises.
My strength is simplifying learning and making it enjoyable. I help students build confidence, improve consistency, and develop effective practice routines.
I believe in creating a friendly and motivating environment. My goal is to help students enjoy piano and grow in their musical journey.

I follow an adaptive, motivational, and creative teaching methodology that focuses on the student’s individual growth. I believe piano learning should be inspiring, enjoyable, and personalised to each learner’s abilities and goals. Through consistent communication, I understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and musical interests, enabling me to design lessons that are both engaging and effective.
Creativity is at the heart of my teaching. Students are encouraged to improvise, experiment with different musical styles, and compose their own music. This fosters originality and builds a stronger connection to music. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, learning style, and skill level, making learning effective, productive, and enjoyable.
In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, and ear training. This holistic approach allows students to develop technical skills, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My aim is to guide students towards becoming confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
