About Sophia
I am a Grade 11 IB scholarship student currently taking Higher Level Mathematics. I have consistently ranked in the top 3% of my year group academically and have been in extension maths classes throughout the entirety of my education. I was also in the Opportunity Class when I was in primary school, meaning I have experience with accelerated learning and am able to provide tutoring to anybody in that demographic.
As a senior student I am passionate about helping and teaching younger students. I am able to provide a constructive and sociable environment for students to learn in, and as I am younger I also have that 'relatability' factor. My goal is to create a relationship where students are excited to learn!
I have previous experience working in a tutoring environment and have held numerous leadership positions at my school on the Lower North Shore. I would love to help your child (or perhaps you?) develop their maths skills through my tutelage.

My lessons are about assisting students with their current school content to help them build the skills they need for independent learning. This may mean working through classwork together or providing additional resources to extend a student's learning. For maths, this includes practice papers, topic tests, and supplementary questions. Flexible learning environment, happy to discuss what works best for individual students.
Tutoring is preferable for students from Primary School up to Grade 8. The length of each lesson is flexible; 1-1.5 hours approximately. I am available around the Lower North Shore (e.g. Mosman, North Sydney, Cremorne, Neutral Bay). Mostly available on weekends, but some weekday afternoons may be available.
