About Leslie-Anne
I am an Emmy Award winning writer and video producer with a serious love of teaching. In addition to writing and producing video content I am an experienced tutor who takes a tremendous amount of pride in seeing my students succeed. Throughout college I tutored English and Creative Writing professionally and even after obtaining a creative position with Warner Brothers, I continued to tutor students, friends and family.
In short, I am a proud word nerd and consider it an honor when former students reach out to me for assistance with their writing assignments.

I tend to base my methods on the student's particular needs. For instance if a student is ESL, I will likely approach assignments in a different way than I would with native English speakers students.
No matter their backgrounds, I make all lessons fun and relatable. I believe in rewarding students, praising them first for their success and then pointing out areas that need attention. I incorporate music, art and every day examples to grab a student's attention, but first, I get to know my students and then I determine my best approach.
