I am a recent graduate with a degree in Literary and Cultural studies, awarded with honors in writing and composition with 2 years experience as a writing tutor at the University of Maryland’s writing center. During COVID-19, I have carried out 100+ hours of remote / virtual tutoring.

I have always loved to read and write, and my educational approach is one of collaboration with attention to expanding the confines of traditional academic language. I see all too clearly how constricting typical approaches to academic writing can be, and have often felt frustrated in the classroom for being expected to conform to seemingly arbitrary rules. My goal is to help each writer develop their individual voice while still being effective communicators able to succeed and impress in academic writing of any kind.
