About Mikayla
I am a Yale graduate student and got my BA from Tufts University, Summa Cum Laude. I've taught everything from preschool to college professionally. This fall, I will have an academic review published in a professional journal. I am well-versed in Latin and a variety of other languages as part of my academic training.

I am fundamentally a creative person,and believe learning should be fun. Let's put it this way. When I was asked to help a 4th grade boy improve his writing, I encouraged him to write Star Wars fanfiction. It's the skill that's important, not the way you go about gaining the skill.
My lessons are for all grade levels and specialties, though I'm particularly proficient as a historian in the premodern world. I am happy to teach most any subject of the humanities, because it's when you understand the big picture that everything gets exciting.
