About Park
I am a Korean violinist and educator who recently earned my Master of Music in Violin Performance from the Yale School of Music, where I studied with Ani Kavafian. I completed my undergraduate studies at Yonsei University in Seoul, where I studied violin with Hyuna Kim.
As a performer, I have appeared as a soloist with the Yonsei Sinfonietta performing Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 4 and have performed chamber music at Kumho Art Hall in Seoul. I have received first and top prizes in several Korean music competitions, including the Nanpa Music Competition, Music Education Newspaper Competition, Music Chunchu Competition, and The Strad Competition.
Alongside my performing career, I have 7 years of teaching experience, working with students from developing young musicians to advanced pre-college violinists.
I am passionate about helping young musicians develop both the technical foundation and musical confidence needed to reach their individual goals.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals, strengths, and learning style. I have 7 years of teaching experience and currently teach students enrolled in the Juilliard and Manhattan School of Music Pre-College programs, as well as students of different ages and levels. I earned my Master of Music from the Yale School of Music and bring both professional training and extensive performance experience into my teaching.
I have also worked with students preparing for orchestra auditions and orchestra repertoire, helping them develop strong technique, rhythm, intonation, musical confidence, and effective practice habits. Lessons can focus on fundamentals, solo repertoire, orchestra excerpts, auditions, competitions, or conservatory and pre-college preparation. My goal is to help each student become a confident, expressive, and independent musician.
