About Anna
My name is Anna. I'm 20 years old and a psychology major studying at CUNY. I'm working towards becoming a behavioral therapist ideally for teenagers. I want to be a part of the communication movement where we teach teens important skills regarding emotional regulation and how to healthily navigate the world around them. I've been working with children since I was 14 and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Back in high school, I led a small group teaching students with special needs basic 4th and 5th-grade math concepts such as fractions and decimals. I was incredibly hands-on with my teaching and emphasized the importance in delivery of content. Anyone can learn a skill, but teaching it to someone is a completely different process requiring patience, ambition, and a bit of creativity. I'd love to work with your family in supporting your child's academic needs.
