About Hannah

I am a 2020 high school graduate that is currently attending college for nursing. I have been in band since 5th grade and have since picked up playing guitar and ukulele along with flute. I have been accepted to multiple honors bands as well as serving as woodwind captain and flute section leader of my high school band.

About the lesson

I like to do one-on-one coaching to make sure they understand all the how’s, what’s, when’s, and whys as the information is being presented to them. I also want to make my lessons an open environment for questions, ideas, and suggestions that cater to each student's specific learning style. This could include helpful videos and charts to demonstrations or step-by-step coaching. My teaching approach will include patience, encouragement, and I will be able to include some of my own experiences in each lesson whether it be playing solo in front of a church to playing as a group in a marching band. Ultimately, I want my approach to teaching to enable each student to continue learning and practicing even when I am not present. I hope to convey the passion I have for music to whomever I get the honor to help.

Perfect! Hannah was fantastic. She is so patient and obviously quite a skilled musician. She was also so kind with my daughter. Unfortunately, I don’t think my daughter is quite ready yet, so we are going to try back at a later time.
