About Mischa
Hi! I’m a grammar school student going into Sixth Form, having recently completed my GCSEs, achieving a grade 9 in both English Literature and Language, and an 8 in Maths. For A-Levels, I’ve chosen both Maths and English (as well as German) —as I’m truly passionate about these subjects. I believe this enthusiasm translates into engaging and effective tutoring. I also have a deep love for reading, especially classics, which has helped me develop a focused mindset and strong critical thinking skills — both of which I apply in my teaching approach.

When it comes to 11+ tutoring, I strongly believe in the phrase, "If you know the why, then you know the how." I focus on building true understanding rather than relying on memorisation. For Maths, regular practice is essential. I guide students through questions with patience and encouragement, always taking the time to ensure they fully grasp each concept. For English, I believe a love of reading is key — it’s what helped me succeed in my own 11+ exams. I support students in reading critically and consistently, showing them how to apply what they learn to comprehension and creative writing. I also work through a range of 11+ materials to build their skills and boost their confidence
