About Rainah
I’m a sophomore in high school with a strong passion for mathematics and engineering. I’ve completed coursework up to Precalculus and maintain a 4.0 unweighted GPA. Outside of academics, I’m the vice president of the robotics club, where I enjoy building robots and designing creative projects with LEGOs. Combining my love for math and hands-on engineering keeps me motivated and eager to help others succeed in these subjects.

As a tutor, I focus on clarity, confidence, and connection. My goal is to break down complex math concepts into simple, understandable steps. I use a variety of techniques, including:
Step-by-step explanations

Regular check-ins to ensure understanding before moving on
I also help students improve their study habits by teaching effective note-taking strategies that support long-term learning.
A standard session with me usually includes:
Warm-up (10 minutes)
A quick review of previous concepts or a short mental math exercise to get focused.
Concept breakdown (15–25 minutes)
I introduce the main topic of the session using clear explanations and examples.
Guided practice (15–20 minutes)
We work through practice problems together, gradually shifting the responsibility to the student.
Independent practice and wrap-up (5–10 minutes)
The student works on a few problems independently, and we review questions or clarify anything unclear. I then outline what to study next.
I also offer sessions to include homework help or test preparation as needed.
I create custom notes and practice problems designed to match each student’s learning style. I’m patient, supportive, and always encourage questions—there’s no pressure, only progress. My lessons are ideal for middle school and high school students (grades 6–12) who need support in:
