About Jemma
Before I undertook my PGDE at the University of Glasgow, I worked as a volunteer one day a week as a classroom assistant for 4 years working within the Business, Religious and Support for Learning Department. I then undertook my PGDE which gave me real life teaching experience for 18 weeks within two different schools in Glasgow City Council and East Renfrewshire Council. This has allowed me to work with a variety of different students with different learning and teaching needs.
I am a Fully Qualified Teacher with the responsibility of National 5 and Higher classes in Administration and IT and Business Management.
I have completed my Masters in Education at University of Glasgow, focusing on the impact of interactive technology and virtual learning environments in education.
I have tutored students over the last nine years and students have achieved either an A or a B at National 5 or Higher. I provide my own resources for your child to use through tutoring.
I am also a SQA Marker for N5 Business Management Assignment and Higher Business Management Assignment and Question Paper.

I'm a Business Education teacher currently working full time in an East Renfrewshire High School. I previously worked for South Lanarkshire Council. I come from a family of teachers and along with my own school experience I appreciate the enormous impact that teachers have on the lives of young people.
Tuition sessions will be tailored to meet your child's needs focusing on maximising their performance in assessments and final exams. Sessions can be focused on each child's specific needs, whether there is an area which they wish to focus on or an area that I have identified that needs to be improved.
