About Lorelei
Graduating with a BA in Latin American Music from Berklee College of Music gave me a deep appreciation for language nuances. Have you ever wondered why a song feels different when the lyrics change? I draw on my background as a native speaker to help exam prep students, kids, and professionals navigate Latin American versus Castilian variants. We spend time on everyday phrases, writing skills, and conversational fluency to get you speaking naturally.
I love helping students master idioms and expressions that you cannot find in a textbook. It is honestly the best part of my gigging life in the US.

I struggle to teach grammar without sneaking in a bit of music and rhythm. Building vocabulary and grammar confidence happens best when you actually enjoy the cadence of the language. My 10 years of experience have shown me that a relaxed environment creates the best results for learners of all ages.
You will get free access to my personal vocabulary and grammar notes to keep your progress moving forward between our meetings. I focus heavily on how to express yourself like a local because that is where the real fun lies. Helping you bridge the gap between beginner status and conversational fluency is my main focus.
We work through the difficult parts together until the patterns start to click. I treat every session as a chance to share the culture I live and breathe. I really look forward to seeing how quickly you can start using these new phrases.
