About Brigette
Transitioning from symphony work to full-time teaching happened quite naturally after I realized how much I enjoyed sharing the process. Truthfully, I prefer the quiet focus of a living room studio over the concert stage.
My 9 years of experience helped me guide 419 students through pedaling technique and complex scales. We often balance classical repertoire with pop and contemporary pieces.
Sight playing and sight transposition build necessary independence at the keyboard. Music theory and ear training are integrated into every practice session. I enjoy helping siblings coordinate their repertoire during shared home visits. You will find me a reliable partner for your family musical goals.

Pacing remains steady because I believe that technical precision leads to genuine confidence. I provide direct feedback immediately after a mistake occurs to ensure the student understands the correction. This method covers accompaniment skills and arpeggios in every lesson. My 9 years of teaching have taught me that rhythm is the skeleton of music.
