Building a relationship with a student that is caring and comfortable. Beginning from a baseline of understanding on a particular subject area of topic. Encouraging to set attainable goals. Encouraged to as questions when a student is unsure. Reviewing what has been learned from a previous lesson and building on the lesson. Integrating a student's personal interests in the topic or area when possible. Reflecting on what has been learned in the lesson and demonstrating that knowledge by means of an exit slip.
