Sitting at my piano at McGill University, I realized how much I enjoyed teaching others the nuances of French. Since graduating with my degree in music, I have spent 12 years helping various learners find their footing in a new language.
I work with relocation clients, busy professionals, and hobbyists who are eager to communicate better. My classroom is often filled with adults preparing for life abroad or navigating immigration procedures.
It is a joy to help someone build confidence through conversation. I find that my background in songwriting helps me explain the musicality of French sounds to my students.
