About Adele

My name is Adele! I am a junior in high school and I have had 12+ years of experience playing the piano. I have performed in recitals, venues, school assemblies, and I have participated in summer programs (such as a chamber music festival or a summer performing arts at Juilliard program). I have experience in teaching some of my friends and my sister how to play the piano, and since I have played almost my whole life, I know how to break down the music to make it simple and understandable for beginners.

About the lesson

My goal is to push people past their level to reach their full potential. My teaching method is personalized to each individual. I prioritize learning to break the music down to make it simpler, dynamics and phrasing, learning notes, and performance skills. Students will learn basic scales, as they are crucial as warm ups and for building skill. You are also welcome to bring your own pieces and suggestions to the lesson. We will work through them together! Don’t worry if you don’t come with suggestions—I have a collection of classical and romantic pieces for students to choose from. I will also help to teach students important skills of performance in order to prepare them for recitals and opportunities.
