About Hon

I am a passionate and reliable teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching children and adult Chinese language (both Mandarin and Cantonese). I offer one-on-one online classes or small group classes with no more than 4 students together per class.

I have excellent proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese and English. My friends always describe me have natural talent in languages. This ensures that I can deliver my classes with 0 communication barrier together with high accuracy. I am very sensitive to students' reaction during class. I will adjust and check in with students when necessary.

My qualifications:
Mandarin (first language, Putonghua Proficiency Test Level One Grade B)
English (High proficiency, score 8.5 for IELTS)

If You need to Cancel or Reschedule, Please Let me Know and do it 12 hours before the lesson starts. Tuition fee will not be refund for late cancellations.

Excellent! Hon was such a pleasant lady to talk to and very quick to respond. We did not make it to the first lesson, but I would recommend her to anyone looking for a high end experienced Chinese teacher! I hope I will get the opportunity to use her services in the future!

It's always hard to pick a suitable tutor from the range of candidates on Superprof. We consider ourselves very lucky to have engaged Hon as our Mandarin tutor for our daughter.

We were looking for someone who could help our daughter put vocab into context and Hon is doing a fantastic job. She is patient and encouraging, and our daughter is learning a lot in the lessons.
