About Kusum
I am a dedicated Maths tutor with over 17 years of teaching experience and a BSc in Mathematics. I specialise in helping students move beyond basic problem solving into deeper mathematical thinking. My focus is on introducing mathematical logic and proof theory to advanced high school and early university learners. I believe that understanding how and why something works is more important than just getting the right answer.
I teach formal reasoning in a clear and structured way. Students learn propositional logic, predicate logic, and foundational set theory step by step. I use paradoxes and carefully chosen problems to make abstract ideas easier to understand. This approach helps students develop curiosity and strong reasoning skills.
My lessons are designed to challenge students while still supporting them. I guide them to think independently and construct clear arguments. My teaching approach in Maths is clear, structured, and focused on building strong understanding step by step. I believe every student can succeed when concepts are taught in the right order. This helps students build confidence early.
I teach important areas like Calculus including differentiation and integration in a simple and logical way. I also cover Geometry with clear explanations of proofs and reasoning. Probability and Statistics are taught using real-life applications so students understand how Maths works in the real world. I include problem-solving exercises in every session.
