About Kian

I hold a Bachelor of Music in Collaborative Piano and have 14 years of teaching experience. My approach centers on fostering critical thinking and musicality while tailoring lessons to each student’s unique learning style. I believe music education should be holistic, combining theory, ear training, history, and technique to create well-rounded musicians. I have worked with students from Early Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate levels, as well as those performing professionally. My lessons encourage curiosity and creativity, helping students connect deeply with their music. I emphasize building strong fundamentals alongside expressive playing. Whether you are looking to improve your skills or prepare for performances, I am here to support your growth. Together, we will explore music thoughtfully and passionately. My goal is to help you develop confidence and a lifelong love for piano. Let’s begin your musical journey with creativity and confidence!

About the lesson

My teaching method focuses on building strong skills while keeping lessons fun and engaging. I emphasize sight reading early on, helping students become confident at reading music quickly. Improvisation is also a key part of my lessons, encouraging creativity and musical expression. I use progress tracking to set clear goals and celebrate achievements, which keeps students motivated.

Technology plays an important role in my teaching. I incorporate virtual piano apps and metronomes to help students practice effectively and develop a steady rhythm. For students preparing for exams, I provide focused training to build confidence and ensure success. Those interested in classical performance receive tailored guidance to master technique and interpretation.

I believe every student learns differently, so I customize lessons to suit individual needs. I support both beginners and advanced players, helping them improve step by step. My lessons focus on developing strong fundamentals alongside musicality. I create a positive learning space where students feel encouraged to grow.

With patience and clear instruction, I help students reach their full potential and enjoy the piano journey.
