I am a piano tutor with over 9 years of experience teaching both in-person and online. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, which has provided me with a strong foundation in music theory, technique, and performance. My teaching philosophy centers on active participation, musical intent, and developing well-rounded musicianship in every student. I tailor lessons to each individual, adapting to their goals, learning style, and interests. My approach combines history, theory, technique, and creativity to make learning both engaging and meaningful. About the lesson

I am a piano tutor with a passion for helping students discover their musical voice. I blend classical, pop, jazz, and contemporary styles to create lessons that are both engaging and versatile. Each session is personalised, designed to match the student’s goals, pace, and interests.

I incorporate technology to enhance learning, using ear training apps, metronomes, and DAWs to improve timing, pitch, and creativity. This approach helps students develop technical skills while exploring their own musical ideas. I work closely with learners who are The Church Musician or The Digital Producer, supporting them to reach their full potential.

Lessons focus on building strong fundamentals, improvisation, and expressive playing. I encourage experimentation and creativity, helping students gain confidence at the piano. Whether a beginner or an advanced learner, each student receives guidance tailored to their journey.

My goal is to make learning music enjoyable while fostering dedication and growth. Students leave lessons inspired, motivated, and excited to play. Piano learning should be fun, and I make every session a rewarding experience.
