About Maddison

I am a dedicated vocal instructor with over 6 years of experience helping students develop their voice with confidence and control. I hold a Bachelor of Contemporary Music with a major in Voice, which gives me a strong foundation in both performance and teaching.

My approach is integrated and well-balanced. I teach a variety of styles including Classical, Pop, Rock, and Country, so students can explore and discover their unique sound. Along with singing techniques, I also include ear training, harmony, and music theory to build complete musicianship. These skills help students not only sing better but understand music more deeply.

Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level, goals, and learning style. I work with beginners who are just starting out as well as experienced singers looking to refine their technique. I focus on key areas like breath control, pitch accuracy, tone quality, and vocal expression.

I believe learning should be supportive and motivating. I create a positive environment where students feel comfortable to grow and take creative risks. My goal is to help every student improve their vocal ability while also building confidence and musical awareness.

About the lesson

My teaching method focuses on building strong stage confidence, clear performance skills, and real connection with the audience. I guide ensemble performers to blend smoothly with others while maintaining their own musical identity. For violin focused learners, I help refine expressive playing, control, and stage presence.

Breath control, diction, and posture are key parts of every session. These basics shape both sound and confidence on stage. I use simple exercises to improve breathing, clarity, and body alignment. Small changes create big results.

To build self belief and charisma, I carefully select songs that match each student’s style and comfort level. The right song makes a difference. I also include movement exercises that help students feel natural and confident while performing. This removes stiffness and builds stage freedom.

Microphone technique is taught step by step so students learn how to project clearly and handle live sound situations. I train them to use space, voice, and expression effectively. Audience engagement is practiced through eye contact, storytelling, and performance energy. These skills turn a good performance into a memorable one.

I use video feedback so students can see their own progress and improve quickly. I also include stage presence drills and vocal stamina apps to build endurance and consistency. Regular practice with these tools helps students feel prepared and confident. Over time, they grow into performers who are expressive, engaging, and truly comfortable on stage.
