About Margarita
I have completed a Master of Education in Spanish from Nova Southeastern University. In addition, I have completed undergraduate-level courses in Secondary Education with a Social Studies concentration at the University of Puerto Rico. I am currently pursuing a second master's degree in School Counseling at Walden University to use those skills to serve my students and colleagues better.

As my resume reflects, my background has allowed me to teach various levels and subjects. I have taught Spanish, Social Studies, and Latin in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, New York, Florida, and Texas for the past twenty-nine years. I possess a fluent command of Spanish and hold formal Education in the language. This experience has made me well-versed in planning, supervising, and implementing the curriculum. My ability to identify students' natural learning styles and capitalize upon the same to impart language skills has always been my most vital asset in this profession.
I bring strong competency in holistically evaluating and enhancing student progress, putting together comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing the Spanish language using strategies appropriate for the respective levels.
