About Rafael
"Violin is rarely just about perfect intonation or mastering scales and arpeggios. Most people think classical repertoire is the only way to build skill, but I find that tuning by ear and tone production matter more.
I have taught 72 students over 13 years. This tenure has taught me how to navigate shifting positions with ease. I am a firm believer that the instrument should feel like an extension of your own body."

"Why should your child struggle with music theory when they could be finding joy in the strings? My lessons prioritise clarity, ensuring that technical habits remain strong across every piece. I incorporate monthly progress reports shared with parents to keep everyone updated on your development. We will drill your intonation and refine your vibrato until your sound is consistent.
I bring my Royal College of Music degree into every session to provide high quality technical guidance. Because I have 13 years of experience, I can identify small errors before they become major habits.
