About Tess
I am a passionate violin tutor with a Master’s qualification and several years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have helped students improve their technical skills, musical awareness, and confidence as performers. My goal is to make violin learning both rewarding and inspiring for every student.
My teaching approach combines patience, encouragement, and personalized instruction. I understand that every learner progresses differently, so I adapt lessons to suit individual needs and aspirations. By balancing technical development with creativity, I help students build strong foundations while maintaining enthusiasm and motivation for learning.
Beyond violin instruction, I encourage students to develop discipline, focus, and effective practice habits that support long-term musical growth. My violin lessons are designed to help students build a strong technical foundation while developing musical understanding and performance confidence. Lessons cover essential skills such as bow control, posture, intonation, rhythm, sight-reading, and musical interpretation.
