About Deva
I'm Deva, a Tamil teacher driven by a purpose larger than the classroom. For those born into Tamil, I want this language — with all its depth and beauty — to stay with you for life, and become a treasure you pass on to your children. For those learning Tamil as a new language, I want to share not just words, but the ethical wisdom woven into Tamil literature — timeless ideas like the Sanga ilakkiyam teaching that all people, everywhere, are kin. My hope is that through Tamil, every student carries forward values of kindness, harmony, and shared humanity into their own life. As a national prize-winning orator and essayist, I bring energy and heart into every lesson. My method is simple: I first find out exactly where you stand, then map the clearest path forward — and guide you step by step, so that every lesson with me is progress, never a setback.
