I’m a passionate singing tutor with over 10 years of experience helping voices grow and shine. I hold a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus in Voice, and my heart lies in choral and ensemble singing. Throughout my journey, I’ve had the joy of directing school choirs, leading college vocal ensembles, and coaching vibrant community singing groups. My teaching centers on Classical, Sacred, A Cappella, and Barbershop styles. I love guiding singers through the art of group harmony, where every voice matters. Whether it's tight barbershop chords or expressive sacred works, I help students discover balance and unity. I specialize in sight singing, solfège, and part-singing techniques to build confidence and musical independence. Developing choral blend and strong listening skills is a key part of my sessions. I also lead focused rehearsals that are engaging, efficient, and musically rewarding. From beginners to experienced ensemble singers, I create an encouraging space where everyone can improve. Many of my students have gone on to excel in auditions, competitions, and performance settings. I believe singing is a shared joy that connects us. About the lesson

My voice lessons for The Suzuki Student and The Orchestra Member are thoughtfully designed to support their unique musical journeys. For Suzuki learners, I integrate voice training with their instrumental ear training, using apps like *Toned Ear* and *Vocal Pitch Monitor* to develop accurate pitch and tonal memory. Breathing techniques are introduced through playful movement-based exercises to build control and awareness.

The Orchestra Member benefits from more structured breath control training using sustained phrasing and diaphragm-focused warm-ups. I emphasize vocal health for both, teaching hydration, posture, and gentle vocal warm-ups that support longevity. Pitch training is reinforced using solfège and tuning exercises that align with orchestral listening skills.

Suzuki students grow in emotional connection through expressive singing games and storytelling. Meanwhile, orchestra vocalists explore phrasing, dynamics, and articulation to match ensemble sensitivity. Performance skills are practiced in mock recitals and group critiques, fostering confidence and stage presence.

Each student receives personalized attention, blending tradition with modern tools for a well-rounded vocal foundation.
