About Faith
I am recent Graduate from Hollins University and outside of tutoring I am a museum professional In Washington D.C. where I work as an Assistant Registrar for a traveling exhibition service. I adore the French language and culture and delight in bringing that appreciation to others. I have visited and studied in France on several occasions and always take the opportunity to absorb as much as possible. I am also a working artist. I have painted over 70 murals in schools in northern Virginia while working at Capital Murals and I take commissions for smaller paintings. My coworkers and friends kindly describe me as friendly, dedicated, and compassionate.

I believe that language learning should be fun and tailored to you!
I specialize in beginner and intermediate tutoring with a focus on proficiency in speaking and pronunciation. In my own experience I have learned that once you have conquered the fear of speaking the rest will more easily fall into place. Vocabulary and conjugation is another area I concentrate on.
In my practice I begin by assessing the student's areas of strength and where they would like to grow. Together we create a lesson plan that finds the fun in listening and speaking practice through music, videos, and conversation. Additionally I enhance reading and writing comprehension through simple french books, conjugation practice and short writing assignments. I am always welcome to feedback and encourage an environment of mutual respect and positivity.
