About Dollie
"Having spent 13 years guiding students through the world of piano, I find that my Bachelor of Music from the National University of Singapore informs every single note we play. Sitting at the keys, I often watch a student finally realize the connection between rhythm, timing, and emotional expression.
My experience spans 419 students, helping them navigate complex music theory, pedaling technique, and the nuances of classical repertoire. Whether you prefer pop and contemporary styles or need to prep for ABRSM or Trinity grade exams, we work together to refine your chord voicing and dynamics.
My teaching philosophy centers on building purposeful practice habits that yield measurable results. I treat every student as an individual with unique tastes and personal motivations for learning.

"Starting our first lesson, I want to understand what makes you move when you hear a piece of music. It feels like a collaborative conversation where we explore sight reading or the technical demands of a new piece. My Bachelor of Music training ensures that we cover theory and expression with total accuracy. I bring a 7.0 standard of excellence to every technical drill we tackle.
