About Aviana

Holding an Artist Diploma in Music Performance from the Glenn Gould School, do you find that your practice routines lack direction? For 10 years, I have guided learners from their very first steps to complex performance pieces, ensuring they feel supported throughout the process.

Whether you are a nervous beginner or preparing for grade exams, I help you build skills like jazz improvisation, memorization techniques, and hand independence. We also work on rhythm, timing, accompaniment, pedaling, and sight playing to ensure you feel confident at the keys. My approach is centered on meeting you exactly where you currently stand.

About the lesson

Many pianists struggle with technical roadblocks that hinder their flow, which is quite frustrating when you just want to play. Addressing these issues, I provide a short recorded playback of each session so students can review at home. This resource allows you to observe your own progress and refine your technique between our meetings. You gain clear feedback on your phrasing and rhythmic accuracy during these recorded segments.

Returning to these recordings often helps you isolate specific challenges before they become habits. Reviewing your performance helps you grow with consistent focus.
