About Rachelle

I have been teaching secondary students for over 20 years and enjoy seeing students develop new skills and confidence with mathematics. I live in rural Victoria and find tutoring online suits my desire for greater work-life balance, so I can spend more time riding my motorbike and playing golf.

About the lesson

My aim is build confidence in each student. I begin by understanding the student's learning goals and current level through conversation and informal questions. From there, I tailor individual lessons to meet the needs of the student and to build skills by plugging any gaps found in a student's understanding.
I use clear explanations and step-by-step modelling, gradually building the student's confidence to attempt questions independently.
I provide timely feedback on a kind and considered manner to students and parents/guardians and offer follow-up learning to improve understanding and confidence.
