I have over 5 years of teaching experience and obtained my CTCSOL International Chinese Teacher Certificate in 2024.

Before joining this platform, I taught more than 300 students.
My students always say I'm the best beginner tutor! My lessons are different. I don't teach strictly by textbook outlines or only cover basic phrases for simple scenarios.

About the lesson

For new learners, building foundational Chinese awareness, underlying logic and speaking confidence in the first 50 hours matters most. Interest may be the best teacher, but quick breakthroughs help your interest stay strong in the long run.

My beginner courses are my forte, as they:
Simple: I break down Chinese pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary simply so you can easily understand and master them.
Starting from zero, you'll see tangible progress in 50–60 hours!
Practical: Use what you learn in class straight in real life. After lessons, try ordering food at Chinese restaurants or shopping in Chinese stores. If you're in China, core survival skills like asking for directions and taking taxis will be a breeze.
Step-by-step: Finish first, then perfect; speak first, then refine. Later on, you'll use basic tenses more accurately and flexibly in different situations. If you work with Chinese partners, polite, appropriate language shows your professionalism.
Engaging & Fun: No robotic textbook dialogues. All exercises are closely tied to your life. I'd also like to share real stories about China, cultural preferences, differences, etiquette and taboos, plus anything you'd like to discuss.
Efficient: I worked for seven years as a manager in finance. To all high achievers, I fully understand how valuable your time is. I help you retain 70% of what you learn during our lessons.

Of course, if you already have a foundation and want to improve your speaking, you are welcome to join my conversation lessons for real-scenario dialogues and brainstorming. We will work on:
Logical structuring: Before speaking, form a clear train of thought. I’ll help you organize vague, messy ideas and build expression frameworks for different scenarios.
Coherent delivery: Connect fragmented sentences to produce smoother, well-structured and natural speech, boosting confidence in longer passages.
Topic development: Expand the breadth and depth of topics and go beyond superficial small talk. Adding details matters greatly. When chatting casually, making recommendations or sharing opinions, detailed language conveys finer emotions and strengthens your arguments.

But I'm not specialized in teaching children.
