Why I Teach Korean – A Message from the Heart Teaching Korean is more than just a job for me — it’s a calling. As a native speaker, I feel proud and honored to share my language with others. But more importantly, I want to help my students feel confident, understood, and welcomed as they explore Korean, whether it’s for study, travel, work, or personal growth. I’ve seen how learning Korean can open new doors — not just professionally, but emotionally. It brings people closer to Korea, and often, closer to themselves. That’s why I take every lesson personally and do my best to make sure my students don’t just learn Korean, but truly experience it.
