About Matteo

I have been private tutoring 1:1 and group students – both online and face-to-face - since 2012, delivering an average of 4 teaching hours per day, 6 days per week, including public holidays. I am also a Class Teacher in Management Accounting at LSE, and a Professional Lecturer in Public Financial Management for the International Centre for Parliamentary Studies. I am an Approved Trainer from the Institute of Leadership, and I have been awarded the Higher Education Teaching Fellowship. In the past, I was a Professor in Accounting and Business Administration in High School. I am also a PhD external expert advisory in Management Accounting and Sustainability Accounting, an Advisor in Business Administration, Accounting, and Management Accounting committees, External examiner and member of ad-hoc committees for professional certifications and public competitions in Business Administration, Accounting, Auditing, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Management Control, and Public Financial Management. I have obtained a PhD in Accounting - excellent with honours - from the Universities of Siena, Pisa, and Florence - Italy. I was a PhD research scholar at the Department of Accounting and Finance, The University of Auckland - New Zealand, a long-visiting scholar at King’s College, University of Cambridge, and a summer-visiting scholar at Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago - United States. I have a Master of Science in Accounting and Management (1st Class Hons) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management (1st Class Hons).

About the lesson

The teaching approach is concrete, highly interactive and focused on specific students’ needs with clear and simple explanations to achieve the desired outcomes in an efficient and fun way. The duration and content of the lessons depend on the needs of each student. Particular attention is paid to the strategies and techniques of understanding, reasoning, learning and memorising the contents required to achieve objectives in a short time. I have multiple successful case studies of students with high expectations, demands, and challenges. I am proud to say that all students supported have reached their goals and shared a deep appreciation for the support received. Within the UK context, I have private tutored students of many leading Universities, such as LSE, UCL, Imperial, King’s, Queen Mary, University of West London, University of Westminster, University of Roehampton, University of Sheffield, The University of Manchester, Christ Church University etc.
