About Vanessa
Absolute beginners often sit down for their first lesson wondering if they will ever feel comfortable holding the instrument. I remember standing in front of my first youth symphony conductor, heart racing, realizing that technical precision is only half the battle.
After 11 years in regional chamber ensembles, I transitioned to teaching full-time to help others find that same clarity. My daily work emphasizes tone production and left hand agility.

Does a focused, steady progression produce the best musical results? My approach centers on building a solid foundation through calm, consistent work on classical repertoire and sight reading. Because I earned my Bachelor of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music, I emphasize the same analytical rigor expected in competitive conservatories.
