About John
Sitting down for your initial session, we begin by observing how you naturally engage your breath to support your sound. It is a process of discovery where we identify which muscles need activation and which ones require release. Throughout our time together, we refine your pitch control, vibrato, and belting technique to suit your chosen genre. I provide recorded warm-up routines shared for daily home practice to keep your voice healthy between our meetings.
Since I have 13 years of performing experience, I know how to help you build confidence on stage. This structure allows us to explore your potential without pressure.

Two decades of performance across major European opera houses define my approach to vocal instruction. An MMus Vocal Studies ensures that I understand the physiological realities of the human instrument. I work with absolute beginners, intermediate singers, and self-taught vocalists who require structure. My instruction emphasises rhythm, phrasing, and the management of stage fear.
