About Stella
Stella is an experienced leader and career coach with a demonstrated history of working in the staffing and recruiting industry and managing high-performing teams. Stella worked for a Fortune 500 recruitment firm for 18 years, building up their Banking & Finance team from scratch and eventually led the Singapore office, doubling its growth in her stint as the country head. Stella most recent position was Vice President, placing senior finance and accounting professionals in Vancouver. Stella holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the National University of Singapore and a Graduate Diploma in Human Capital Management. Stella is skilled at teaching conversational, business English for Chinese, Cantonese speakers who want to be more confident in speaking and presenting themselves in a business or social setting. Being a native English Speaker and able to converse in Mandarin and Cantonese, Stella would be most helpful in coaching Mandarin or Cantonese speakers who would want to be more confident in conversing in English in a Business or Social context. Sessions can be done in-person (Vancouver & Burnaby and Richmond, BC) or online, although it is more effective in person as body language contributes between 55% - 93% of conveying a message. You would need to already have basic proficiency of the English language for sessions to be truly effective.
