About Waleed
Hi my name is Waleed and I want to help you.
As a tutor I am truly passionate about helping learners achieve their target marks and will do anything in my power to help make that a reality. I understand that juggling multiple subjects whilst battling the constant stress can be daunting and discouraging. My aim, however, is to make the work as easy as possible, making the process more enjoyable. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic dreams, whether that be making top 10 or getting the marks needed for entry into university.

In order for students to succeed, they need to understand the work and be able to convey their knowledge in a manner that will ensure they gain marks, which is the academic standard.
My lessons aim to achieve exactly that. This is done by identifying students’ optimal learning methods and preferences which are then implemented throughout our lessons.
The aim is not only to ensure memorization of key subject matter but facilitate an understanding of said matter. This empowers students to handle unexpected questions and retain what they learned in the long run.
A typical lesson consists of learning theory, implementing theory through exercises, and double-checking that the student understands and has retained what was learnt through tests. To conclude the lesson, a recap is done and key struggle areas are addressed to ensure maximum effectiveness and success of the student.
