About Carmen

Hi! I'm from Peru and I specialise in teaching Spanish to beginners. I've been teaching Spanish for 5 years across Australia, and I’m now based in Adelaide.

I create a personalised plan that gets you speaking in just a few months, not memorising random phrases, but actually building your own sentences.

We focus on what really matters: the topics you’ll use in real life, clear pronunciation, and understanding why Spanish works the way it does. Once you understand the “why”, everything clicks.

About the lesson

Have you ever wondered why we say “soy estudiante” and not “estoy estudiante”? Or why the H is silent in words like hola and hablo? Or why Spanish pronunciation is so consistent?

That’s exactly what I’ll help you understand!

With regular practice, you can reach a basic level in around 4 months, with just 2–3 hours per week.
