About Rodrigo
I'm Rodrigo Castillo, a Peruvian violinist and pianist, born in the city of Lima - Peru. I am currently studying with Ms. Lena Neudauer at the University of Music and Theater in Munich. I started playing the violin when I was 9 years old and 2 years later I started my first piano lessons. I did my preliminary studies in music at the present National Music University of Peru, with the Hungarian-Romanian violinist Laszlo Benedek as violin teacher. Since then I have performed as a soloist with various national orchestras and as a chamber musician abroad. I have participated in numerous music festivals at home and abroad, such as Interlochen Arts Camp (USA) and Femusc (Brazil). In 2017 I was a finalist at the international competition "New Docta" in Cordoba, Argentina, and in 2019 I was elected to the Orchestra of the Americas, with whom I performed in the best auditoriums in various cities in Mexico.
I took master classes with Maxim Vengerov, Midori Goto, Vadim Repin, Ryo Goto, Lara St. Johns, Eduard Schmieder and Carlos Johnson.

Welcome! Here you will learn everything you need to develop yourself further in the violin art. In addition, we work on the sense of rhythm and hearing and I offer you additional documentation to introduce you to the fascinating world of classical music and the violin.
My lessons follow the Suzuki method, but I'm also interested in it, more Learn about students and their tastes in order to create the best study plan. We use technical fundamentals and lots of practical examples.
