About Vanessa
"Holding a Master of Music in Music Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire allows me to see the piano through the lens of pure acoustics and precise movement. The sensation of ivory keys under my fingers feels just as vivid today as it did during my early training.
Having taught 187 students, I specialise in pedalling technique, rhythm and timing, scales and arpeggios, posture and hand position, chord voicing, music theory, pop and contemporary, classical repertoire, dynamics and expression, and jazz improvisation. I combine this technical depth with a 10.0 level of dedication to ensure you develop your personal musical voice. "Students often reach a point where they play notes accurately but lack the soul of the performance. Honestly, I sometimes find that technical habits are the only thing standing between a student and true expression. I offer a free trial lesson to map out goals. My 9 years of experience with 187 students ensures a clear path.
