About Samuel
Grammar drills are not always the best way to start a lesson. We often begin by discussing travel scenarios to build immediate functional vocabulary.
My 19 years of experience mean I focus on reading comprehension and listening practice. You will receive a homework module with feedback after every class to ensure you stay on track. I bring my background in French literature into our work on DELF and DALF preparation.
We examine everyday phrases and cultural contexts that make the language feel alive. I really enjoy watching students find their own rhythm.

Children often learn the fastest when they are just starting out. I recall sitting in a café in Italy, feeling the weight of learning a new language firsthand. My 499 students have taught me that clear, structured guidance is essential.
I hold an MA in Comparative Literature, which shapes my analytical approach to French. I have lived in Spain, the US, and Italy, so I understand the travel experience intimately. Kids, adults, and beginners often find my methods both logical and approachable.
It is my goal to make the learning process clear for everyone. I enjoy sharing my love for linguistic discovery.
