About Lawrence

I instruct based on practical scenarios, focusing on your primary goals; whether it's cardio, strength or defense skills. Suitable for both beginners & Martial Artists who can accept that Self Defense is a different ball game. I was in competitive sports Karate, and coached Karate & Self Defense since 2000, with family breaks in between. Currently, I am a 4th Dan Black Belt holder. A typical session is 1.5 hours.

About the lesson

Half the sessions are interactive, it raises your alertness and response, a good balance on cardio and strength drills. You'll first learn how to leverage your existing strength to escape bigger and stronger attackers or bullies, how to break fall, with progression to neutralizing single attackers, and averting multiple and weaponized attackers. I instruct based on practical scenarios, focusing on your primary goals; whether it's cardio, strength or defense skills. Suitable for both beginners & Martial Artists who can accept that Self Defense is a different ball game. I was in competitive sports Karate, and coached Karate & Self Defense since 2000, with breaks in between. Currently, I am a 4th Dan Black Belt holder. A typical session is 1.5 hours. Minimum age is 12, with no max age limit.

He trained me when I was a kid. His self defense training is based on common encounters. He is very good in training you to be situationally aware, so that you can practice your reflex action, to defend or escape grips.

Traveling to your area will be an additional rm30 to rm40 per trip. Group sessions available on weekends at rm180 a month.
